Dot were approached to remodel the interior for the whole hotel in London. The hotel was of a more budget level, but with exceptional staff, and it was felt that the interior didn’t match the service. As such, the brief was to create an interior that was influenced by London, but not too extreme. The premise was to take vintage London bus blinds and use these as the base for the hotel reception. Very much a nod to London, but one that was subtle enough. The rear bar/eating area took advantage of the existing roof lantern to create an exciting and light filled entertainment space.
